Bosch: Is the Amazon TV Series Cancelled or Renewed for Season Six? Marlo protected his newly acquired territory through top enforcers: Chris Partlow and Felicia "Snoop" Pearson. Marlo returns to Prop Joe to get his money cleaned. Marlo orders Snoop to kill Michael, but Michael realizes he is being set up and kills Snoop first.

Marlo Stanfield Played by Jamie Hector A ruthless and cunning young player, Marlo Stanfield caught everyone off guard with his insurgent campaign against the larger Barksdale crew. Marlo is directed to Little Johnny's Diner, the Greeks' headquarters. While in an alley with some friends, dousing a cat with lighter fluid, and apparently planning to light the cat, Kenard sees Omar approaching. Later Marlo had his dealer Fruit and his crew beat Bodie's team with baseball bats to prove that he wasn't going to lay down and let the Barksdale organization move into his territory. Marlo seeks Prop Joe's guidance in money laundering while simultaneously preparing to overthrow him. Marlo takes in the situation and says simply 'Do it or don't. Don't forget that if you want to see all comments on one page to use the Go To All Comments on One Page link. Marlo also has Prop Joe introduce him to defense attorney Maurice Levy to assist in Marlo's money laundering. In reality, Avon had facilitated his death by giving Brother Mouzone (and in turn Omar Little) information about Stringer's whereabouts. The Co-Op raises the funds, but Slim Charles murders Cheese in revenge for Cheese's betrayal of Proposition Joe before he can carry out Marlo's order. He has merely sized the situation up, judged there is no threat or benefit to him therein, and leaves it as not worth his time. After he is released, he is first seen at an event with Levy, his lawyer, who tries to introduce him to important developers and investors in order to establish him as a legitimate young businessman. Savino's activities were soon recognized and he was eventually ambushed in a corner by Omar Little, who after a brief conversation, killed Savino with a single gunshot to the head, in revenge for the torture-murder of Butchie by Chris Partlow and Snoop. Savino is one of five prominent enforcers of the Barksdale Organization in Season 1. On two crucial occasions rivals underestimate his ruthless efficiency: when Avon tries to set him him up by having a girl hit on him, and when Prop Joe presumes he can "civilize" him. Slim Charles calls for backup, but Avon and his soldiers are arrested. Marlo later has one of his dealers, Fruit, and his crew give Bodie's crew a beating, demonstrating that Marlo is not going to lie down and let the Barksdale organization move into his territory. Avon acknowledges Marlo, thus conceding that the crown has been passed.[2][3]. The first time Marlo makes an impact is when his underlings are about to punish Bubbles and Johnny for leaning on their car, threatening them with a handgun. After the Barksdale organization dissolves, he is briefly independent (supplied by the New Day Co-Op) until Marlo forces him to join his crew. Omar identified him as a past Barksdale soldier and, knowing his violent history, refused to accept Savino's explanation that he was not present at the incident, reasoning that if Savino had been there he would have joined in with the others. The Stanfield Organization violently clashes with the Barksdale crew after the latter is forced to move on from the demolished Franklin Terrace Towers and tries to reclaim the streets the gang once dominated.

When Lester Freamon finally discovers Marlo's murder victims in the vacant houses, a massive police investigation into the vacants begins, and the re-established Major Crimes Unit begins investigating Marlo once again. Fruit is pressured by Marlo to force the Barksdale Organization away, and Fruit responds by gathering his muscle and beating most of the crew into submission with baseball bats. The Brooklyn-born actor Jamie Hector may be best known for his role as Marlo Stanfield on the critically acclaimed HBO series "The Wire". However, after he physically forced the boys away, he realizes that his arm has been cut by a pocket knife, which is seen laying on the ground after the scuffle. He first appears telling Randy Wagstaff to send fellow drug dealer Lex to meet a girl, where Chris Partlow and Snoop are waiting for him. Avon then orders a second attack, carried out by Dennis "Cutty" Wise and Slim Charles, in which a Stanfield dealer named Boo is killed, and Fruit escapes after Cutty hesitates. This scene is quite disturbing to the viewer who sees Duquan's character slowly lose path. He also acts as a liaison between Stanfield and Proposition Joe as Joe attempts to negotiate an end to the turf war. He acknowledges his inability to put human relationships first in his last exchange with Joe, who he clearly also felt some bond with: "I treated you like a son" "I wasn't made to play the son. Actor | His decision-making is calibrated to winning "the game".
